Job summary

Autoliv seeks a Payroll Specialist to analyze, process, and maintain payroll data for both unionized and non-unionized employees. You will ensure accurate pre-payroll activities, support employees with payroll inquiries, and ensure regulatory compliance across locations.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance, support projects, and participate in initiatives to drive continuous process improvements while adapting to a 2nd shift operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll administration experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and systems (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SUA, IDSE, LF LMX).

Responsibilities

• Manage and process pre-payroll activities for unionized and non-unionized employees, ensuring accurate payroll data.
• Maintain employee payroll records and HR systems (additions, terminations, salary changes, shifts, leave, attendance).
• Coordinate payroll movements to external agencies and internal stakeholders (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, Payroll, Finance).
• Review, reconcile, and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries with timely support.
• Support HR and continuous improvement initiatives by participating in projects and sharing best practices.
