nVent is seeking an HR Generalist to provide first-level HR support for employees in Monterrey, Mexico. The role covers payroll, benefits, onboarding, and policy guidance within a hybrid, global environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in HR or related field with 2+ years of HR experience, fluent English and Spanish, and hands-on Workday/TRESS experience. You will collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure compliant HR services.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Provide first-level support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist in resolving employee concerns and escalating issues when appropriate. Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Coordinate payroll-related information and ensure timely submission of employee changes. Support benefits administration, enrollment processes, and employee inquiries. Assist with leave management and attendance tracking. Support performance management processes and development initiatives. Assist in audits and maintain required HR documentation. Support implementation of HR programs and continuous improvement initiatives.

YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field. +2 years of experience in Human Resources. Bilingual, strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish is required. Experience with HRIS systems, WORKDAY and TRESS system is required. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices. Support on Human Resources processes such as onboarding and benefit administration. Support HR alignment by collaborating with HR teams across the business to drive consistent execution of HR services. Management and reporting of KPIs, monthly HR metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Skills and competencies such as strong organizational and time management, customer focused mindset, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, problem solving and conflict resolution abilities and teamwork and collaboration.
