Job summary

Flexport seeks a senior operations executive to lead the Guadalajara office, overseeing multimodal freight execution across ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage. You will manage vendor relationships, ensure service quality, and drive growth with scalable processes.

You will leverage your deep market knowledge of Mexico's logistics landscape and your automation mindset to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Hands-on operations management across multimodal freight in Mexico.
• Existing relationships with ocean carriers, airlines, trucking, and customs brokers in Mexico.
• Ability to automate processes and use AI-driven tools to improve operations.
• Strong local leadership presence representing Flexport with partners and vendors.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Own multimodal operations across ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage for the Guadalajara office.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key Mexican logistics players to improve rates and service.
• Drive customer success by ensuring service quality and resolving issues.
• Serve as the local site leader and face of Flexport in Guadalajara.”
• Shape the GDL office growth, including team structure and ways of working.
• Identify manual bottlenecks and champion automation and AI-powered tooling.
