Job summary

Flexport in Mexico is seeking a seasoned Country Manager to build and lead our local teams, drive market presence, and oversee end-to-end operations for growth. You will infuse Flexport’s culture, manage partnerships, and ensure seamless service to customers across LATAM, with focus on expanding in the Mexican market.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in logistics leadership, a proven track record in growing freight forwarding in Mexico, and strong strategy and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain management.
• Proven track record in growing freight forwarding business in Mexico with local buyers.
• Deep understanding of Mexico's logistics landscape, partners, airlines, shipping lines and regulations.
• Experience developing and executing operational strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with customers and partners.
• Hands-on experience managing complex supply chain operations and technology implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational aspects of Flexport in the country, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Develop local strategies aligned with regional and global objectives to drive growth and profitability.
• Identify, negotiate and maintain partnerships with local partners to expand service offerings.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing local team focused on excellence.
• Drive customer success by maintaining service quality and strong client relationships.
• Own and execute Flexport Mexico’s commercial strategy, expanding footprint with new logos.
• Monitor local market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards across operations.
