Job summary

Tecnológico de Monterrey is seeking an experienced and strategic Gerente de Recursos Humanos Estratégico (Head of HR) to lead its HR function in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

This executive role will shape HR strategy, oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation, while partnering with the executive team to drive organizational development and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role (HR Manager, Director, or Head of HR).
• Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies in tech/fast-growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, including Mexican labor law and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with executive leadership.
• Experience in change management and organizational development.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage HR operations including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance, learning and development, compensation, and benefits.
• Lead the HR team with mentorship and guidance.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Develop and maintain HR policies ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture to attract and retain top talent.
• Oversee employee relations and ensure fair application of policies.
• Lead talent management and succession planning.
• Oversee HR budget and cost-efficient operations.
