Job summary

HARMAN Automotive is seeking a senior Test Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, to lead test development for global product launches. The role requires expertise in software/hardware test systems, RF/audio technologies, and automated test platforms across board and system levels.

You will mentor a team of 3–8 engineers, drive test strategies, DOE, and cost optimization while collaborating with global stakeholders to meet aggressive milestones and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in Test Engineering or automated test systems development.
• Experience with NPI processes and global manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal embedded hardware design and RF/audio tech.
• Proven leadership and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all test development activities to support global product launches.
• Develop and apply advanced manufacturing test technologies for board and system levels.
• Mentor 3–8 engineers and provide technical leadership across global teams.
• Define test plans, strategies, and documentation; ensure DOE and quality targets.
• Drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with external test equipment vendors to meet RFQ milestones.
