Job summary

HARMAN Automotive is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Problem Solver Engineer to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues across operations. You will lead RCA efforts, implement CAPA, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams to meet automotive standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in automotive manufacturing, strong data analysis skills, and experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, DMAIC, and 5 Whys.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing with a problem-solving focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production and customer issues.
• Develop, implement, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor effectiveness and verify permanent resolution of solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and participate in audits and customer visits.
• Analyze data trends using statistical tools to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support new product launches with robust problem-prevention strategies.
• Ensure SQDC KPIs stay on track and maintain 5's in the workplace.
