Job summary

Viva is seeking a GSE Operations Supervisor to ensure the readiness and efficiency of the Ground Support Equipment fleet. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, manage resources, and work with Operations to maintain safe, on-time performance.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in GSE and airport operations, strong leadership, and familiarity with AIMS, Navitaire, and OTP Viewer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in GSE operations, passenger services, ramp procedures, and safety.
• Knowledge of GSE operations and processes, customer service, ramp procedures, safety, and airport authorities interaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is in optimal operating condition to prevent delays and ensure safety.
• Maintain rigorous control over maintenance schedules and daily inspections.
• Verify equipment complies with aircraft manufacturer specifications and fleet changes.
• Collaborate with Operations and Logistics for integrated operations.
• Maintain equipment availability statistics and monitor repair times from providers.
• Support a safe, efficient airport ground operation and excellent passenger service.

The GSE Responsable Ensure the operational readiness and efficiency of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) fleet through the implementation of rigorous standards, maintenance scheduling, and compliance with technical specifications. This includes overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance processes and managing resources to optimize equipment reliability and operational safety.

Supervise ground operations and passenger services, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction through the implementation of innovative processes and effective management of the team and all available resources. Ensure compliance with the airline’s operational standards and contribute to the achievement of its strategic objectives.

Your deliverables will include:

• Ensure that all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is in optimal operating condition to prevent delays and ensure operational safety.
• Maintain rigorous and systematic control over corrective maintenance services, preventive maintenance schedules, and daily equipment inspections.
• Ensure that all equipment used in Viva’s operations complies with the technical specifications required by the aircraft manufacturer.
• Review and verify that any new or replacement equipment complies with the required technical specifications whenever there are fleet changes or new equipment is incorporated.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Operations and Logistics, to ensure effective communication and an integrated operation.
• Maintain equipment availability statistics and monitor estimated repair times provided by service providers.

Our ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree Airport Management, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Knowledge of GSE operations and processes, customer service and passenger services, ramp procedures, operational safety, and interaction with airport authorities.
• Knowledge of AIMS, Go Now Navitaire, Office, OTP Viewer
• Strong leadership skills, problem-solving and conflict management abilities, initiative, proactivity, and teamwork
