Job summary

UN/COMMON is a digital experience and marketing agency seeking an experienced Email Designer to support email marketing and retention-focused creative initiatives across multiple ecommerce clients. This engagement focuses on the development of high-quality email campaigns, lifecycle marketing assets, and related creative deliverables that support client retention strategies.

You will design campaigns, automate flows, and produce motion assets while collaborating with retention strategists,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional email design experience
• Experience designing for D2C email marketing & lifecycle retention programs
• Proficient in Figma with components, variants, and auto-layout

Responsibilities

• Design high-performing email campaigns, automated lifecycle flows, and retention assets.
• Create visually compelling and conversion-focused solutions aligned with brand guidelines and business objectives.
• Develop email concepts, layouts, and visual systems that support retention and customer engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with retention strategists, marketers, copywriters, and creative stakeholders to deliver projects on time and according to scope.
• Execute projects from concept through final delivery while maintaining quality and consistency across all assets.
• Create motion-based elements, GIFs, and lightweight animations when appropriate to enhance customer engagement.
• Provide constructive design feedback during project reviews and creative discussions.
• Contribute recommendations for improving creative workflows, efficiency, and project execution.
• Maintain awareness of performance objectives and incorporate data-informed design decisions into deliverables.
• Support occasional internal marketing or business development creative needs as requested.
