Johnson Controls seeks an Import/Export Specialist to manage daily operations with a focus on customs compliance for our plant. You will validate documents, coordinate with customs agents, and ensure accurate tariff classification and clearances.

The role requires at least 2 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP/Vastera and VUCEM SAT is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Sense of urgency and ability to multitask.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient English (~80%).
• MS Office applications preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Vastera and VUCEM SAT procedures.
• Interpretation of Bills of Materials.

Responsabilidades

• Execute daily Import and Export operations for the assigned plant with a focus on Customs Compliance.
• Control the arrival of materials to the warehouse of the Customs Agent abroad.
• Validate commercial documents and reconcile arrived components vs. documents.
• Prepare customs documents and provide tech info for tariff classification or permits.
• Serve as point of contact between the Customs Agent and the service plant.
• Follow-up of the customs clearance process from loading to arrival.
• Validate import/export declarations and upload into Annex 24 system.
• Manage Annex 24 KPIs with Customs Agents.
• Review Expense Accounts.
