Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Export Compliance Officer to lead development and implementation of export compliance policies for manufacturing and business operations in Mexico, reporting to the Export Compliance Manager in the United States.

The role is based in Mexicali or Chihuahua on a hybrid schedule. You will drive audits, ensure adherence to US-Mexico export regulations, support permissions, and integrate compliance with the IMMEX program while training staff and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in trade, business, law, logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years in aerospace/defense or regulated industry.
• Familiar with Mexico Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) and/or U.S. FTR.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary focal to support Mexico operations on export compliance matters.
• Develop and implement export compliance policies and procedures for US-Mexico regulations.
• Perform quarterly compliance audits, assessments, investigations and disclosures.
• Support U.S. export authorizations involving Mexico sites.
• Integrate export compliance into the local IMMEX program.
• Deliver export compliance training to employees.
• Maintain records of export activities for regulatory reporting.
• Review, update and implement Mexico site technology control plans.
• Monitor regulatory changes and develop action plans.
