Job summary

Vertiv seeks an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to drive performance improvements with suppliers for NPDI, PPAP and mass production. You will assure key manufacturing metrics, drive APQP readiness, and lead containment and corrective actions across internal teams and supplier sites.

Responsibilities include on-site audits, root cause analysis, and robust QC plans. Strong knowledge of SCAR, 8D, Six Sigma and ISO 9001 is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Supplier Quality Engineer role or related fields.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP and ISO 9001-driven quality systems.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action skills (SCAR, 8D, Fishbone).

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier performance improvements for NPDI and PPAP in new programs.
• Ensure OEE, cycle time, capacity and throughput targets across pre/post-launch.
• Drive APQP processes and monitor supplier QMS compliance.
• Develop robust corrective actions for nonconformances and drive containment actions.
• Perform supplier on-site audits and supplier risk assessments.
• Prepare executive summaries and communicate outcomes to leadership.
