Carrier is seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality role to strengthen supplier capabilities and drive exceptional performance across global supplier networks. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements, support NPI and ramp-ups, and ensure on-time delivery and product quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and at least 5 years in supplier quality or related areas. A Six Sigma mindset and lean tooling experience are highly valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, supplier development, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of supplier performance improvement methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience conducting supplier assessments, capacity evaluations, and production readiness reviews.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supply chain operations.
• Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and production ramp-ups.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience working within global manufacturing organizations and supplier networks.

Responsabilidades

• Conducting onsite assessments with suppliers, buyers, quality, and engineering teams to drive supplier performance improvement.
• Utilizing the Supplier Development Playbook to advance supplier capabilities toward Supplier Gold standards.
• Collaborating with suppliers to identify and eliminate barriers to continuous improvement, enhancing on-time delivery and product quality.
• Monitoring supplier performance and implementing sustainable corrective actions and countermeasures to drive measurable improvements.
• Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and production rate increases through production readiness assessments, capacity validation, and ramp-up planning.
• Supporting supply chain initiatives by tracking KPIs, analyzing performance metrics, and coordinating cross-functional improvement activities.
• Engaging strategic suppliers to develop and sustain improvement programs that achieve world-class operational performance.
