Job summary

Mexicali RTX Corporation seeks a Supplier Development Lead to drive containment, capability building, and sustainable performance across global commodities. This hands-on role coordinates containment actions, supplier assessments, and structured improvement plans with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, travel up to 50%, and advanced English proficiency to collaborate with global stakeholders and lead critical recovery initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Travel to supplier sites for at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Containment & Recovery: lead containment actions with Operations and Quality and drive rapid response actions.
• Conduct RCCA investigations to resolve critical quality or delivery issues.
• Lead supplier assessments using SRA, SHA, Gemba and related methods.
• Develop and implement structured improvement plans with KPI tracking and gate reviews.
• Coordinate with commodity teams and SBUs to ensure a smooth transition to sustainable operations.
• Support APQP for new product launches and transition projects.
