Job summary

CommScope seeks a Specialist in Strategic Sourcing to develop and implement annual purchasing strategies for raw materials and services, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to drive cost savings and ensure top supplier performance.

You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate regional pricing, maintain ERP data, and ensure compliance with contracts and corporate standards including environmental and social responsibility, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related area.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in English language (written and spoken).
• Experience in SAP.
• Able to travel domestically – international.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing raw materials and products according to specifications and company guidelines.
• Developing supplier relationships and regional sourcing strategies.
• Negotiating regional pricing and ensuring required service levels in supplier contracts.
• Maintaining ERP system data (pricing, lead times, MOQs, suppliers, terms).
• Ensuring supplier contracts comply with global/regional specs and renewal timelines.
