Ohmite Manufacturing is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to develop sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve material availability and cost performance across our manufacturing operations. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Five+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing industrial raw materials or components; experience in electrical or electronic manufacturing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sourcing plans for critical raw materials, components, and services.
• Analyze spending, pricing, and purchasing trends to identify cost savings and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with Quality and Engineering.
• Monitor market conditions, supplier capacity, lead times, and supply chain risks to maintain reliable supply.
• Develop alternative sources for critical materials to reduce supply interruptions.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, including quality, on-time delivery, lead time, and cost.
• Conduct periodic supplier business reviews and follow up on improvement plans.
• Coordinate the resolution of significant supplier issues with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Operations.
• Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, and lead times in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with suppliers on material alternatives, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.

We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to develop sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve material availability and cost performance across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization

• Develop and execute sourcing plans for critical raw materials, components, and services.
• Analyze spending, pricing, and purchasing trends to identify cost savings and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with Quality and Engineering.
• Monitor market conditions, supplier capacity, lead times, and supply chain risks to maintain reliable supply.
• Develop alternative sources for critical materials to reduce supply interruptions.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, including quality, on-time delivery, lead time, and cost.
• Conduct periodic supplier business reviews and follow up on improvement plans.

Negotiation & Supplier Agreements

• Prepare and manage RFQs.
• Evaluate quotations based on total cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and commercial terms.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and supply agreements.
• Coordinate the review and renewal of supplier agreements with the appropriate internal teams.
• Track and report sourcing savings and progress against established goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Five or more years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing industrial raw materials or components; experience in electrical or electronic manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
• Availability to travel for supplier visits and business needs.
