Job summary

CommScope in Juarez, Chihuahua is seeking a Specialist, Strategic Sourcing to develop and implement annual purchasing strategies for raw materials and services, and to optimize supplier performance.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and sales, negotiate regional pricing, manage supplier contracts, and maintain ERP data to reflect true total cost and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience using SAP procurement modules.
• Willingness to travel domestically – international.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing raw materials and products according to specifications and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Develop supplier strategies and regional sourcing to support business needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to align supplier strategies with product requirements.
• Negotiate and manage regional pricing and supplier contracts to reflect true total cost.
• Maintain ERP data (pricing, lead times, MOQs, suppliers, payment terms) and ensure contract compliance.
