Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Mexicali, Mexico seeks a strategic sourcing buyer negotiator to manage midsize value contracts, coordinate with internal clients, and drive productivity and cost savings across the supply base.

The ideal candidate has extensive procurement and project management experience, proven negotiation and contract management skills, and strong analytical abilities to optimize budgets and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in procurement and project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Drive SBG strategic plan with supporting strategies to achieve productivity/cost savings.
• Align with Commodity Strategies including spend site analysis, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends
• Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships
• Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories, etc.
• Inventory and Lead time reductions
• Assist in Site Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required
