Flowserve is seeking a proactive Purchasing Specialist to manage a portfolio of domestic and international suppliers and oversee the full purchasing cycle from requisition to delivery. The role involves collaboration with Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering teams across North America, China, India, and Canada, requiring strong supplier-management skills and technical understanding.

• 2-4 years of purchasing/procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience managing domestic and international suppliers with PO follow-up and delivery performance.
• Intermediate English with strong written communication for global suppliers.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and PO lifecycle.
• Familiarity with logistics, import/export coordination, or material delivery processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience using SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in the pump industry is desirable, plus exposure to automotive or aerospace.

Responsabilidades

• Manage an assigned portfolio of domestic and international suppliers, fostering productive relationships and monitoring performance.
• Execute end-to-end purchasing process: review requisitions, issue POs, follow orders to delivery and quality release.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers on status, dates, quantities, documentation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Logistics/Traffic, and Engineering to handle shortages and supply constraints.
• Assist in resolving supplier-related quality issues and nonconforming materials with Quality/Engineering.
• Review inventory conditions and procurement requirements to ensure material availability.
• Prepare purchasing-status reports with pivot-table analysis for stakeholders and leadership.
• Use SAP/Oracle to manage POs, supplier data, material status, and procurement reporting.
