The Supply Chain Specialist Ancillary Equipment is accountable for ensuring satisfactory performance and risk management of goods and services to Flowserve from their assigned suppliers. The overall focus of the role is to ensure for the identified suppliers within their assigned portfolio to manage, that the suppliers are performing to the required levels in terms of Quality, Delivery, Risk and Competitiveness whilst ensure the overall account is executed with as minimally desired risk as possible. The role holder is also required to act as an overall supplier base expert within their defined region to support the business and be an identified conduit between the business and the global function.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / procurement Strong interpersonal relationship management Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain Expertise in MS Office tools, Power BI Strong analytical skills which involve collecting, analyzing and interpreting data Ability to influence, communicate and collaborate at all organizational levels Solid understanding of procurement, sourcing and category management methodologies Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure across different time zones a plus Strong interpersonal relationship management Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain Very good commercial acumen and negotiation skills Knowledgeable in procurement in at least one of the following group of items: Controls, Electronics, Instrumentation and IoT related items, Carbon and ceramic parts, elastomers, gaskets, o-rings, bellows, plastic components, C-items (hardware, fasteners) Prefered Change management experience Certified Supply Chain Professional Geographically mobile for development opportunities Knowledge of SAP and sourcing tools like Ariba Knowledge of supply base in the region for the assigned categories Strong knowledge of PCBA, semiconductors and EMS supply base a plus
