(Mexico) seeks a Supply Chain Specialist Ancillary Equipment to oversee supplier performance and risk across the assigned portfolio in Torreón. You will monitor quality, delivery, and costs, drive corrective actions, and act as the regional supplier-base expert coordinating with Category Management and the global function. The role requires strong MS Office and Power BI skills, plus experience with procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationship management across

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / procurement.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship management.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing and category management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Ariba.
  • Geographically mobile for development opportunities.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor supplier performance around competitiveness, delivery and quality and implement corrective actions when performance is not acceptable.
  • Monitor supplier health and overall risk, including capacity and financial solvency, and advise internal actions.
  • Facilitate supplier root-cause corrective actions for systemic issues in performance.
  • Coordinate with supplier escalations and risks via escalation channels.
  • Collect required data for reporting and regulatory filing needs.
  • Support the business for supplier claims related to warranty and damages.
  • Prepare, chair and follow up on supplier business review meetings (MOM).
  • Monitor spend against AVL and roadmap with Category Management and Supplier Performance Group.

Role Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist Ancillary Equipment is accountable for ensuring satisfactory performance and risk management of goods and services to Flowserve from their assigned suppliers. The overall focus of the role is to ensure for the identified suppliers within their assigned portfolio to manage, that the suppliers are performing to the required levels in terms of Quality, Delivery, Risk and Competitiveness whilst ensure the overall account is executed with as minimally desired risk as possible. The role holder is also required to act as an overall supplier base expert within their defined region to support the business and be an identified conduit between the business and the global function.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring supplier performance, particularly around competitiveness, delivery and quality, and implementation of appropriate corrective actions when performance is less than acceptable.
  • Monitor of supplier health and overall risk, including capacity and financial solvency etc, and both advise appropriate internal action to take as well as work with supplier on mitigating action whenever deemed necessary.
  • Facilitate supplier root cause correction action whenever required to address systemic issues on performance.
  • Coordinate with supplier any escalations and risks as raised through the appropriate escalation channels.
  • Collection of required data per reporting/regulatory filing needs.
  • Support the business for of any supplier claims associated with warranty, damages etc.
  • Prepare, chair and ensure follow up to actions/MOM periodic supplier business review meetings.
  • Monitor supplier(s) spend against AVL and Roadmap set by Category Management Periodic review with Supplier Performance Group and Category Management group on the supplier performance report out.
  • Operate in full compliance to all Flowserve Policies & Procedures as applicable to the role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / procurement Strong interpersonal relationship management Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain Expertise in MS Office tools, Power BI Strong analytical skills which involve collecting, analyzing and interpreting data Ability to influence, communicate and collaborate at all organizational levels Solid understanding of procurement, sourcing and category management methodologies Good project management skills and ability to work under pressure across different time zones a plus Strong interpersonal relationship management Evidenced understanding of both commercial and technical areas of supply chain Very good commercial acumen and negotiation skills Knowledgeable in procurement in at least one of the following group of items: Controls, Electronics, Instrumentation and IoT related items, Carbon and ceramic parts, elastomers, gaskets, o-rings, bellows, plastic components, C-items (hardware, fasteners) Prefered Change management experience Certified Supply Chain Professional Geographically mobile for development opportunities Knowledge of SAP and sourcing tools like Ariba Knowledge of supply base in the region for the assigned categories Strong knowledge of PCBA, semiconductors and EMS supply base a plus
