Job summary

Harbour Energy seeks a proactive Cost Controller to manage project cost control for international operations from our Mexico City office. You will maintain WBS in the project control system, manage budgets, and deliver monthly cost reporting and forecasts.

You will work closely with license partners, internal stakeholders, and procurement to ensure financial alignment with plans. The role requires 5 years of cost control experience, familiarity with Pims and SAP S4HANA, and strong communication

Qualifications

5 years’ relevant cost control experience, preferably with both operators and contractors.
Experience with Pims is preferred.
Experience with Mexican field development projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain WBS in the Project Control System.
Work Program and Budget; initiate process of the budgets and follow up.
Monthly cost status reporting and forecasting.
Prepare monthly cost overview, rolling up contractors’ cost reports against plans and budgets.
Participate in overall cost reporting to License Partners and Internal stakeholders.
Contingency analysis and tracking risk assessment.
Maintain timely awareness on project cost and planning performance against budget; analyse Potential Changes; recommend corrective actions.
Review contractors’ cost and schedule reports and recommend corrective action where necessary.
