TechnipFMC plc in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Specialist, Project Controls to lead planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting for complex projects. You will partner with project managers, finance, engineering, and procurement to ensure accurate performance visibility and informed decision-making.

The role requires 5–8 years in project controls, strong EVMS knowledge, and excellent communication to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of project controls, project management, cost control, planning, scheduling, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of project controls methodologies, including earned value management and performance measurement.
• Experience with project scheduling software, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and project reporting tools.
• Understanding of cost control, forecasting, change management, and risk management processes.
• Ability to analyze project data and communicate trends, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of project contracting, commercial management, and project execution practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic project environment.
• Detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and project performance baselines.
• Monitor project progress, analyze performance trends, and identify deviations from approved plans.
• Prepare and distribute project controls reports covering schedule, cost, progress, risk, and forecast information.
• Support project forecasting activities, including revenue, cash flow, and resource planning.
• Coordinate project controls inputs for finance, contract management, and risk management activities.
• Facilitate earned value analysis and performance measurement reporting.
• Identify risks and opportunities and support the development of mitigation and recovery plans.
• Maintain project controls systems, dashboards, reporting tools, and project coding structures.
• Support internal and external project reviews by providing analysis, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to project controls processes, systems, and reporting
