Job summary

Orbia is seeking a Process Control Manager to lead global process optimization across multiple manufacturing sites in a dynamic, international setting. You will drive APC initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, and safety.

The role requires strong engineering background, 8+ years of experience in process control, and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel is required to support global operations and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 8+ years in process control, automation, or related areas.
• Experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global Process Control strategy.
• Lead initiatives on process optimization across facilities.
• Improve production efficiency, process stability, asset reliability, and energy use.
• Drive Advanced Process Control, automation, and digital technologies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Technology teams.
• Analyze data to identify trends and diagnose performance gaps.
• Support reliability and asset integrity programs via automation improvements.
• Manage process control projects from concept to implementation.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple locations.
• Promote best practices in process control, cybersecurity, and ops excellence.
• Evaluate AI and analytics to boost plant performance.
