Orbia’s Polymer Solutions (Vestolit) is seeking a Process Control Manager to lead global process optimization and control initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. You will apply advanced process control, automation, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 solutions to improve plant performance, reliability, safety, and efficiency.
The role requires strong technical leadership, a track record in chemical or continuous manufacturing, and willingness to travel internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 8+ years in process control or automation in chemical/continuous industries.
- Strong DCS/PLC/SCADA expertise.
- Experience with Emerson/ABB/Honeywell/Siemens/Yokogawa.
- Digital transformation and APC experience valued.
- IIoT/Industry 4.0 familiarity encouraged.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global Process Control strategy.
- Lead process optimization and digital transformation across facilities.
- Improve production efficiency, process stability, and asset reliability.
- Drive APC, automation, and digital technologies deployment.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Technology teams.
- Analyze data to identify trends and solve performance gaps.
- Mentor multidisciplinary teams across locations.
- Promote best practices in process control and cybersecurity.
