Job summary

The organization Marken, part of UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, seeks a logistics coordinator to track consignments, manage routing and milestones, and liaise with multiple offices and service providers to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include shipment conditioning, pre-booking MAWB, alerting dispatch, and ensuring on-time delivery while adapting to varying schedules.

Qualifications

• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Thorough understanding of Aviation/Airline networks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others.
• Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments and update milestones in Maestro.
• Condition shipments as required (dry ice replenishment, re-packaging, labeling) and update milestones.
• Define best routing to dispatch shipments.
• Select routes using direct flight options and cheapest/most experienced airline.
• Ensure arrival times meet delivery requirements.
• Obtain pre-booked MAWB and coordinate with receiving agent or MARKEN office.
• Inform Dispatch when shipment is ready for tender to Airline.
• Enter routing legs into Maestro.
• Send Domestic Alert through Maestro and confirm reception.
• Monitor milestones with reporting tools.
• Liaise with Marken network to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Marken offices and Local Service Providers for efficient transfer.
• Analyze repetitive problems and develop service solutions.
