Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in HR, business administration, labor relations, or related field.
• Typically 10+ years HR experience or 8–10 years in management, preferably in employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Manages a small HR compliance team delivering internal and external audits, incl. human rights.
• Formulates labor relations policy and participates in bargaining negotiations and contract administration.
• Investigates disciplinary matters and recommends actions with HR guidance.
• Coordinates grievance investigations and reports to leadership and HR partners.
• Acts as spokesperson in bargaining and interprets labor policy and applicable laws.
• Drafts responses to union information requests and grievances.
• Supports contract negotiations with research, documentation, and trend insights.
• Advises managers on employment and labor issues; conducts trainings.
• Develops positive employee relations strategies and risk-based location plans.
• Handles complex escalations, collaborating with employment law and HR leads.
