Job summary

Flex is seeking a Sr. Manager Workforce Planning in Guadalajara to lead global headcount planning across manufacturing operations.

You will monitor forecasts, budgets and variances, and deliver strategic insights to align staffing with project ramp-ups and capacity growth. In this role, you will partner with Manufacturing leaders, HR Business Partners, and regional SPOCs to ensure workforce readiness and effective staffing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Headcount Planning process for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and manage global headcount forecasts.
• Identify, document, and communicate variances against forecast, budget, and operational plans.
• Analyze the root causes of workforce increases and reductions, providing recommendations and action plans.
• Develop executive reports, dashboards, and metrics related to Forecast and Headcount Planning.
• Lead workforce planning activities to support new project ramp-ups, product launches, production transfers, site expansions, and capacity growth initiatives, ensuring the right headcount is available to meet business demand.
• Partner with Workforce Planning SPOCs and HR Business Partners across regions and manufacturing sites to ensure effective workforce planning and execution.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational plans, budgets, and workforce requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Workforce Planning & Data Analytics strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate the implementation, adoption, and maturation of new processes, methodologies, and tools with regional SPOCs.
• Drive the standardization of Workforce Planning methodologies, metrics, governance practices, and reporting processes across the organization.
• Participate in organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce planning and operational effectiveness.
