Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Headcount Planning process for manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and manage global headcount forecasts.
  • Identify, document, and communicate variances against forecast, budget, and operational plans.
  • Analyze the root causes of workforce increases and reductions, providing recommendations and action plans.
  • Develop executive reports, dashboards, and metrics related to Forecast and Headcount Planning.
  • Lead workforce planning activities to support new project ramp-ups, product launches, production transfers, site expansions, and capacity growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Workforce Planning SPOCs and HR Business Partners across regions and manufacturing sites to ensure effective workforce planning and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational plans, budgets, and workforce requirements.

Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Sr. Manager Workforce planning located in Guadalajara. Reporting to the Sr Director, HR Global Business Services, the Sr Manager Workforce Planning role will be responsible to lead global workforce planning (Headcount Planning) activities across manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing headcount forecasts, budget and operational plan variances, and identifying the key drivers behind workforce increases and reductions. The position will provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and ensure alignment between workforce demand and operational requirements. A key responsibility of this role will be partnering with Manufacturing leaders, HR Business Partners, and Workforce Planning SPOCs to support workforce planning requirements associated with new project ramp-ups, product launches, operational expansions, production transfers, and capacity growth initiatives across global manufacturing sites. The role will ensure workforce readiness and staffing strategies are aligned with evolving business needs. Additionally, this position will serve as the primary point of contact for Workforce Planning & Data Analytics strategic initiatives, driving process implementation, adoption, standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Workforce Planning SPOCs and HR Business Partners across regions and manufacturing sites to ensure effective workforce planning and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational plans, budgets, and workforce requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workforce Planning & Data Analytics strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate the implementation, adoption, and maturation of new processes, methodologies, and tools with regional SPOCs.
  • Drive the standardization of Workforce Planning methodologies, metrics, governance practices, and reporting processes across the organization.
  • Participate in organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce planning and operational effectiveness.
