Amazon is seeking Area Managers for Fulfillment Centers (FCs) to lead one functional area and drive budget, people development and operations objectives. The role requires managing over 100 hourly employees, coordinating with HR, Finance and IT, and applying Six Sigma/Lean approaches to improve performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations management, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, fluency in English and Spanish, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 5+ years Operations Management in manufacturing, production, distribution or related industry.
• Supervisory responsibility for a minimum of 100 hourly employees.
• Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Drives staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives and change initiatives for the area.
• Measures performance and holds Area Managers accountable for results.
• Leverages teams to develop improvement plans for the functional area.
• Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and network.
• Collaborates with HR, Finance, Facilities, IT and other Sr. Ops Managers to secure support for projects.
• Addresses operational and personnel issues affecting the area.
• Surface issues with potential impact to multiple areas with proposed solutions.
