Amazon Operations is seeking an Area Manager to lead a large team of Amazon Associates in a Fulfillment Center. You will mentor, coach and develop staff while ensuring safety, quality and performance goals are met in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires strong leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects. Flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays is needed to support peak periods and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing methods beneficial.
• Strong English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates in a Fulfillment Center.
• Communicate policies and ensure compliance, quality and safety programs.
• Drive recognition programs and maintain safety, security and loss prevention standards.
• Collaborate with management to meet quality and performance goals.
• Develop and execute cross-functional process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Plan and forecast performance, coordinate multiple projects, and track outcomes.
