Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate the day-to-day import/export of shipments globally. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery across all transportation modes, preparing quotations and schedules while resolving issues to meet customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in export/import operations, 5+ years in international freight forwarding, and CCS certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight Forwarder for International Operations including IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES and CBP knowledge.
• High School Degree or equivalent (Required).
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• ITAR, DG or TSA regulations knowledge (Intermediate).
• General computer skills (Medium).
• CCS-Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification (Required).
• Dangerous Goods Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day import/export of international shipments in line with customer requests.
• Coordinate the preparation of profitable quotations.
• Schedule shipments and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports.
• Coordinate recovery/delivery schedules with carriers and partners.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays or issues to ensure on-time performance.
• Ensure shipments are billed within company guidelines and timelines.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
