Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate daily import/export shipments for global freight forwarding across all modes, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires 3+ years in export/import operations and 5+ years in international freight forwarding with knowledge of IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, AES, and CBP rules. Strong IT skills and attention to regulatory details are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations.
• Basic IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES and CBP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Qualify shipping requirements with customers and gather necessary details for quotations.
• Prepare profitable quotations and set shipping schedules with customers and ports.
• Coordinate import/export operations across air and ocean modes to meet timelines.
• Track shipments and communicate delays, problems and resolutions to customers.
• Ensure shipments are billed per company guidelines and timelines.
