Job summary

S&P Dow Jones Indices in Mexico City is seeking an Operations Associate to help onboard and manage dynamic attributes within our inhouse data platform, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.

You will collaborate with index managers, R&D, commercial teams, and IT across New York, Beijing, Mumbai to deliver accurate datasets and meet client needs. This role offers exposure to global data operations and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience with large datasets and spreadsheet analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Validate and maintain index and company-level data across SPDJI products.
• Review equity fundamental data for a global universe of companies.
• Assist in production and quality control of universe-level calculations.
• Perform data checks to meet SLAs and delivery timelines.
• Support distribution and maintenance of standard index data on client platforms.
• Assist with maintaining dynamic attribute datasets and recurring calculations.
• Monitor data quality and investigate discrepancies.
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with team members on daily operations and project work.
