Job summary

Grünenthal Group is seeking an experienced manufacturing & operations professional to enhance scale-up, technology transfers, and process optimization for oral solids within a global network. You will lead investigations, support product introductions, and ensure GMP compliance across sites.

The role requires 10–15+ years in pharmaceutical operations with strong expertise in granulation, blending, compression, coating, and process validation, complemented by Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, process engineering, or technical manufacturing.
• Hands-on expertise across multiple dosage forms and technologies, especially oral solids.
• Experience leading technology transfers between development, sending sites, and receiving sites.
• Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with process validation, CAPA, and deviations.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical expertise in granulation, blending, compression, coating, and process validation to support manufacturing performance and tech transfers.
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses of complex manufacturing issues.
• Support new product introductions, process transfers, and scale-up activities.
• Translate process science into high-scale production considering GMP constraints and regulatory requirements.
• Harmonize manufacturing processes across the network and deliver technical trainings.
• Review process validation docs, change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and risk assessments.
