Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager to travel to on-site locations, including work outside Mexico. The role focuses on methodical cost analysis, negotiation strategies, and strong interpersonal skills to achieve optimal outcomes.

The candidate will oversee feasibility studies, procurement Reporting, cost planning, tendering, and contract management across large construction projects, ensuring accurate cost checks and timely financial close-out.

Formación

• 6 - 8 years of professional experience in construction projects.
• High degree of accuracy and local market cost knowledge.
• Worked for global companies previously.
• RICS, preferable
• AACE CCP, CCT preferable

Responsabilidades

• Assist on feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
• Estimate and cost plan including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Develop cost procedures and governance.
• Tendering and procuring, including pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and docs.
• Manage post contract cost changes and change control processes with line manager as needed.
• Review and approve subcontractor proposals, manage contracts and change requests.
• Carry out cost checks and valuations on larger projects ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
• Analyze project budget, monitor expenditure against delivered products/services.
• Review monthly reports and present to SCM and client.
• Input into value engineering and negotiate final accounts.
• Interface with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Lead cost management team where appropriate.
