Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager for manufacturing and construction projects in Mexico. The role focuses on feasibility studies, cost planning, procurement, and cost control across industrial facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5–9 years in cost management or related fields, a relevant bachelor's degree, and fluency in English and Spanish. Experience with CostX and AutoCAD is preferred, and the position requires strong leadership and client-facing abilities.

Formación

• 5-9 years of experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Quantity Surveying or Civil/Construction Engineering
• Certifications like RICS, AACE or CCP are desirable
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication and leadership skills

Responsabilidades

• Conduct feasibility studies, CAPEX assessments, and procurement reports for industrial/manufacturing projects
• Prepare quantity take-offs, estimates, cost plans, and manage contract administration
• Lead cost planning and budgeting, present cost strategies to clients
• Apply value engineering and life-cycle costing to optimize investment value
• Manage procurement processes: tenders, bid evaluations, contracts, supplier selection
• Control budgets via change management, cost tracking and forecasting
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow analyses, and financial updates
• Review subcontractor proposals, variations, and change requests
• Negotiate final accounts and mitigate cost overruns and risks
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, site teams and suppliers
• Mentor junior team members, support resource planning and development
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing on projects
• Use financial management systems to monitor profitability and forecasts
