PayJoy, a Public Benefit Corporation, is seeking an Automation Engineer (Tools Specialist) to bridge low-code automation and software development, powering CX across 9 countries. The role owns PHP/Python APIs, Zendesk AI Agents, IVR platforms, and N8N/Make workflows, with strong autonomy and cross-cultural collaboration across teams.

The candidate will design workflows, develop RESTful APIs, and contribute to AI platform evolution, collaborating with CX Operations to translate business needs

Formación

• Fluent English is required.
• Experience with conversational AI and/or IVR platforms beneficial.
• Ability to deliver automation solutions end-to-end with testing and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain chatbot flows, IVR configurations, and low-code automation workflows (N8N, Make).
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs used by bots and IVR systems; manage releases via Git PR workflows.
• Contribute to Generative AI integrations and dynamic knowledge base management for PayJoy's platform.
• Collaborate with CX Operations across multiple countries; produce PRDs and documentation in Confluence.
• Participate in POCs for IVR platform migration and expand cloud/CCaaS footprint.
• Own backlog items in Jira; ship solutions with tests; monitor impact and report metrics.
