PayJoy, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer (Tools Specialist) to bridge low-code automation and software development, owning PHP/Python APIs, Zendesk AI Agents, IVR platforms, and N8N/Make workflows.

You will deliver AI-powered, data-driven solutions end-to-end with autonomy and cross-cultural collaboration across Brazil, South Africa, and Colombia. Join a Global Tools team focused on enhancing CX across nine countries, with a strong emphasis on async communication, collaboration, and

• Experience with conversational AI and/or IVR platforms.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts and agentic automation.
• Knowledge of PHP best practices, PSR standards, and SOLID principles.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain chatbot flows, IVR configurations, and low-code automation workflows to automate customer interactions across 9 countries.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs used by bots and IVR systems; manage releases via Git PR workflows.
• Contribute to PayJoy's AI platform evolution including generative AI integrations and knowledge base management.
• Collaborate with CX Operations stakeholders across countries to translate requirements into technical solutions and produce PRDs/docs in Confluence.
• Participate in POCs for IVR platform migration (Amazon Connect, UJET) and support cloud/CCaaS expansion.
• Own end-to-end delivery: manage backlog in Jira, ship with tests, monitor post-release performance, report impact.
