Expeditors, a global logistics company, seeks an Accounts Payable professional in Nuevo Laredo to manage payables and ensure timely payments to service providers. You will review, verify, and record payables, disburse funds, and uphold Expeditors’ culture of integrity and service.

You will maintain general ledger accuracy, perform monthly reconciliations, support audits, and collaborate with Operations and Finance teams while building cross-functional relationships across the organization.

Formación

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounting preferred.
• Accounting and Finance knowledge required.
• Ability to learn global logistics industry processes and procedures.
• Customer Satisfaction oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication and presentations.
• Ability to relate and influence employees at all levels.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Problem solving and business analytical skills.

• Ability to complete work within standard procedures, guidelines and office policies.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Accounts Payables processes: receive, review, verify, and record payables and manage disbursement to ensure timely payments.
• Promote Expeditors culture and lead by example.
• Record payable header in exp.o Accounting system upon receipt from Operations Payable team.
• Review and submit payable detail in exp.o Accounting system with correct cost centers and tax accounting.
• Perform audits on Service Provider payables and reconcile to statements.
• Verify Employee Expense Reimbursements and perform monthly GL reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Operations teams to improve processes and cross-functional relationships.

Conocimientos
