AIT Worldwide Logistics in Morelia, Mexico is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to administer and optimize our payables processes, verify invoices against POs, ensure goods/services receipt, and authorize payments while mentoring the AP team.

You will join a global logistics leader committed to compliance, accuracy, and timely disbursements, with a growth-oriented culture and opportunities to develop expert skills in CargoWise, AS/400, and MS Office.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in finance and/or accounting field.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and policies.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure credit holds are actioned and resolved expediently to avoid freight disruptions
• Complete and issue voids and/or stop pays when requested through AIT's bank
• Train and lead newly hired employees; delegate and review the work of accounts payable team
• Be a member of Account Escalation; assist with items through escalation and help resolve
• Ensure SOP Maintenance is performed monthly
• Maintain a small proportion of audit accounts and address vendor errors/payments
• Complete the Pay to Station (PTS) weekly process
• Complete monthly X batch for monthly batch processing
• Complete the monthly purge – exclude vendors and purge the rest on last business day
• Performs other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards
