Placements24 seeks an experienced General Manager for a premier beachfront resort in Cancún, Quintana Roo. The GM will oversee daily operations across all departments, drive profitability, and uphold guest service standards within a globally recognized hospitality brand.

The role requires 10+ years in hospitality with 5+ years as GM, fluency in Spanish and English, and a proven record of leading large teams and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in hospitality management with 5+ years as GM of a resort or large hotel.
• Proven track record in managing complex operations and profitability.
• Strong knowledge of hotel departments and best practices.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; other languages a plus.
• Experience in international tourism markets, preferably Cancún or Quintana Roo.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily resort operations across front office, housekeeping, F&B, recreation and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet financial targets and excellence.
• Ensure top-tier guest service and satisfaction consistently.
• Lead and train resort staff to foster a positive work environment.
• Control costs, manage budgets, and maximize revenue streams.
• Oversee marketing and sales efforts to attract and retain guests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Build relationships with authorities, vendors and community stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competition.
