The Standard, Mexico City is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first greeting and the last farewell for every guest journey. You will balance operational excellence with warmth, anticipation, and genuine care to shape a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Bring previous front office or guest services experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English and Spanish to create memorable stays in a luxury hospitality setting at a premier Mexico City location.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office, guest services, hospitality, luxury hotels, or customer-facing environments.
• Strong passion for creating memorable guest experiences and personalized service.
• Experience with Opera PMS or similar property management systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and personalized service reflecting The Standard's spirit.
• Execute check-in and check-out efficiently with meticulous attention to detail.
• Identify VIP and returning guests to tailor service throughout their stay.
• Create memorable experiences through thoughtful gestures and anticipation of needs.
• Manage room assignments based on availability and guest preferences.
• Maintain accurate guest information in Opera and other systems.
• Process guest accounts, payments, and authorizations per hotel policy.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping on status updates and requests.
• Record and follow up on guest requests and feedback for prompt resolution.
• Communicate with Front Office leadership and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure clear shift handovers between team members.
• Promote upselling and cross-selling aligned to guest profiles.
• Handle concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.
• Escalate complex matters appropriately while maintaining service excellence.
• Act as an ambassador of The Standard's culture and service philosophy.
