Sezzle is seeking a talented and motivated Risk & Disputes Intern to join our fast-paced team. You will analyze and respond to card and ACH disputes, collaborating with fraud/risk and disputes teams to guide cases toward resolution.

You'll gain exposure to data analysis, SLA management, and AI-enabled workflows, leveraging Claude or similar tools to boost efficiency while learning the fintech landscape at Sezzle. This paid internship requires full-time weekday hours (9:00 am–5:30 pm CT).

Mansioni

Analyze disputed card, debit card, and ACH transactions and resolve disputes within timeframes.
Collaborate with fraud and disputes teams to determine next steps for each case.
Investigate transactions using internal policies and review methodologies to spot patterns.
Review account patterns through data analysis using internal systems.
Work with analysts, operations, data scientists and engineers to improve loss prevention processes.
Develop domain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and technologies.
Maintain SLAs for timely resolution of cases to minimize losses.
Handle escalations professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize Claude or equivalent LLM tools to enhance productivity and research.
