Sezzle is seeking a detail-oriented Fraud Data Analyst to identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, applying SQL to analyze data and strengthen defenses. The role emphasizes using Claude or similar AI tools to enhance productivity and accuracy in fraud detection.

English resumes are required. You will monitor transactions, develop rules, and collaborate with the team to protect customers and the company from financial loss while maintaining high ethical standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Analytics or related field.
• Minimum of two years in fraud detection, prevention or investigation.
• Minimum of two years' experience with SQL and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of common fraud typologies (account takeover, identity theft, payment fraud, etc.).
• Experience with fraud detection tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor transactions and customer accounts to identify and investigate suspicious activity.
• Utilize fraud detection tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns.
• Conduct in-depth investigations and document findings.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify anomalies and insights related to fraud.
