Sezzle is seeking a Product Operations Intern to join the Rewards team. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, design, and data to ensure receipt scanning is accurate and fair in a fast-paced fintech environment. You’ll analyze submissions, document edge cases, report bugs, and help prioritize product improvements. A Bachelor's degree and Claude/LLM tool experience are valued; remote, full-time is available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty programs.
• High attention to detail and pattern recognition.
• Structured, logical mindset to turn cases into rules and fixes.
• Experience writing bug reports for engineers.
• Internships/projects in operations, product, fintech, data analysis, or startups is a plus.
• Experience with Claude or similar LLM tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day quality of receipt submissions and apply validation decisions.
• Identify edge cases like unusual receipts and duplicates.
• Provide actionable feedback with bug reports and examples for engineering.
• Prioritize improvements by impact, fraud risk, and cost.
• Track fixes through the backlog and monitor results.
• Document review guidelines and escalation paths.
• Identify parts to automate or simplify the workflow.
