Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Understanding and working knowledge of GAAP standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain fixed asset roll-forward schedules.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts in compliance with GAAP and company guidelines.
• Review and approve capital expenditure requests and capitalization thresholds.
• Execute day-to-day fixed asset transactions including transfers, disposals, and retirements.
• Communicate with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment to meet CAPEX tracking and close deadlines.
