Job summary

Intuitive in Mexicali, Mexico is seeking a Fixed Assets and Inventory Accountant to support global inventory controls and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate reporting and SOX compliance. You will partner with Product Operations Accounting and Internal Audit to perform cycle counts, resolve exceptions, and drive continuous improvement in governance and reporting.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, strong MS Office skills, and

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, Operations Accounting, Audit, or related fields.
Detail oriented, organized, and motived.
Strong interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Own the governance and oversight of cycle counts, physical inventories, annual inventory verification, and third-party inventory confirmation procedures across locations.
Coordinate investigation and resolution of exceptions, including root-cause analysis, remediation plans, and tracking issues through resolution.
Maintain centralized reporting and provide management with regular visibility into the health of the inventory control environment, including key metrics, open issues, emerging risks, and significant or unusual activity.
Execute operational fixed asset activities, including asset capitalization support, asset transfers, disposals, physical verification activities, and asset master data maintenance as needed.
