Job summary

A confidential financial technology client in Mexico seeks an experienced Marketing Director to steer branding, customer acquisition, and commercial growth for the Mexico market. This on-site role in Ciudad de México reports to the Board and aligns local strategy with global objectives.

You will lead a high-performing marketing team, manage agencies and partners, drive integrated campaigns across digital, search, social, PR, and partnerships, and ensure regulatory compliant advertising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Mexican national.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership or director-level responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading integrated marketing strategies, brand development, and commercial growth initiatives.
• Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional marketing teams and external agency partners.
• Background in FinTech, Digital Lending, Financial Services, Digital Banking, Technology, E-commerce, or high-growth consumer businesses is highly preferred.
• Deep expertise in digital marketing, brand management, performance marketing, social media, influencer marketing, and customer acquisition.
• Professional English proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, and growth roadmap for the Mexico market.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital marketing, brand management, social media, influencer marketing, public relations, partnerships, and performance marketing.
• Identify market opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive insights to support business expansion and customer acquisition.
• Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing organization while establishing performance objectives and KPIs.
• Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, PR firms, creative vendors, and strategic marketing partners.
• Monitor marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, budgets, and ROI to maximize business impact.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, operations, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with global strategies.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with applicable financial advertising regulations and industry compliance standards.
