Job summary

AIG SEGUROS MEXICO S.A. DE C.V. seeks a Finance Coordinator to oversee the Accounting Manager functions for Mexico entities, including period end close, statutory reporting, and intercompany reconciliations.

You will coordinate with Global Finance centers and local teams to ensure timely completion of key financial deliverables. The role requires strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP and Local GAAP), internal controls and SOX experience, and leadership of a Controlling team.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-qualification experience.
• Hands-on experience in an accounting manager role.
• Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
• Strong preference for working with shared service centers.
• Internal controls and SOX experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage period end closing and financial reporting for US GAAP and Local GAAP for Mexico entities.
• Coordinate statutory accounts preparation and filing with external audits.
• Review month-end and quarter-end reporting with FC and LT.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Lead treasury activities and intercompany reconciliations.
• Develop and manage Controlling staff.
