Job summary

AIG SEGUROS MEXICO S.A. DE C.V. seeks a Finance Coordinator to oversee the Accounting Manager functions for Mexico entities, coordinating close, statutory reporting, and intercompany reconciliations.

The role liaises with FC and LT to ensure timely, compliant deliverables under US GAAP and Local GAAP. You will support Local Controller and Regional Controller, drive internal control improvements, and coordinate audits while managing the finance team and ensuring accurate financial information for

Qualifications

• Strong analytical background with strategic thinking and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of accounting, treasury, internal controls, and financial systems.
• Experience communicating with all management levels, verbally and in writing.
• Experience with US GAAP and local GAAP; SOX experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage period end close and financial reporting for Mexico entities in collaboration with FC.
• Coordinate statutory accounts and support external audits and reviews.
• Review KPIs and balance sheet reconciliations with FC and business partners.
• Ensure internal controls and SOX testing are performed and documented.
• Lead local internal and external audit work and correlate with treasury activities.
